The idea here was to use as little geometry as possible to come up with something with a lot of depth. I began as an exercise and morphed into an entire series. All there was ...a plane that got a water texture. A ball with another layered material. The tree like columns are added in a photo editing as is the little golden wavy thing and the shadow at the top. Some times simple is better.
